The
association Game Centre Mirakolix is a non-governmental organization activating
in the field of non-formal education through playful and creative activities
for children, youth and adult people.

Starting
2006 in Cluj, the founders wanted to respond to the visible lack of
today’s society of a real environment, were people can socialize and interact
with each other by being involved in different activities, such as playing or
artistic activities.
When
our president Alexandra moved to Brasov a few years ago, she decided to take
Mirakolix with her. Having spent so much love and time on this mission, it is
hard to turn your back on the positive impact you had.
Knowing
that non-formal education is strange to many people also apart from Cluj, Alex
intended to offer our activities to the people of Brasov and the surrounding
municipalities.
Important
changes came along with the move - it was the perfect time for fundamental amendments.
And why not
dreaming big?
So
Mirakolix entered the Erasmus + program and a new era began.
Before an
EVS project (short for European Voluntary Service) can actually begin you
have to overcome the long and troublesome road of gathering and discarding
ideas, deciding, writing the project, applying at the National Agency, finding
suitable coordinators and hoping.
At the first of August in 2013 the
first volunteers arrived and the project “Playride” officially started.
By now, Mirakolix is in the second
round of their EVS experience, running three successful projects at the same
time and looking forward to more years of volunteering.
